## Setting
Dandadan is set in modern-day Japan, primarily in urban high school environments and everyday locations infused with supernatural elements. The story blends school life, romantic comedy, action, and horror, where yokai (Japanese spirits), aliens, and other paranormal entities coexist and threaten humanity. Key locations include haunted tunnels, abandoned buildings, schools, and sites linked to urban legends, extraterrestrial abductions, and occult phenomena. The narrative explores themes of belief, friendship, love, and overcoming supernatural obstacles through a mix of earthly and otherworldly battles.

## Main Characters and Their Personalities
- **Momo Ayase**: A fiery, irritable, and impatient high school girl with a gyaru style, from a family of spirit mediums. She believes in ghosts but not aliens initially. Bold, sarcastic, confrontational, and determined, she awakens psychic powers (psychokinesis, like barriers and blasts) after an alien abduction. She's reluctant friends with Okarun but shows compassion and growth in alliances.  
  **Physical Description**: Teenage girl of average height with a slender, athletic build and curvaceous figure. Youthful face with sharp brownish-crimson eyes, medium-length auburn hair framing the right side of her face in loose waves, fair skin. Typically wears a gyaru-inspired school uniform: white undershirt under a long-sleeved light pink sweater with a loose red bow, pleated navy blue skirt mid-thigh, baggy white socks, brown loafers; accessorized with green circular earrings and a black choker.

- **Ken Takakura (Okarun)**: A geeky, occult-obsessed high school boy who believes in aliens but not ghosts. Nicknamed "Okarun" by Momo (due to her crush on actor Ken Takakura). Determined, resourceful, and driven, he gets possessed by Turbo Granny, gaining super speed and strength in yokai form, but loses his genitals temporarily. He navigates supernatural fights while dealing with personal quests.  
  **Physical Description**: Teenage boy with short black hair, often messy, wearing glasses that give him a nerdy look. Average height and build, typically in casual school attire like a button-up shirt and pants, with a somewhat unassuming, bookish appearance that contrasts his inner determination.

- **Seiko Ayase**: Momo's grandmother, a youthful, athletic spirit medium who doesn't look her age. Experienced, tough, and protective, she fights demons with a metal bat and exorcism skills. Supportive mentor figure to Momo and her allies.  
  **Physical Description**: Appears in her 30s despite being elderly, with a fit, athletic build from her active lifestyle. Short, dark hair, sharp features, and a youthful face. Often dressed in practical, casual clothes like jeans, jackets, and sneakers, carrying her signature metal bat.

- **Turbo Granny**: A mischievous, vulgar, and tough yokai spirit haunting tunnels. Initially an enemy, she possesses Okarun but later aids the group. Speed-based powers make her a formidable, chaotic ally with a crude personality.  
  **Physical Description**: Elderly woman yokai with wrinkled skin, hunched posture, and wild gray hair. Wears tattered traditional clothing, with a skeletal, eerie appearance that belies her incredible speed and strength; often depicted with glowing eyes and a menacing grin.

- **Aira Shiratori**: A popular, pink-haired classmate who's fearless and helpful in fights. Awakens powers similar to Momo's. Confident but sometimes reckless, she joins the team after encountering yokai.  
  **Physical Description**: Attractive teenage girl with long, wavy pink hair and bright eyes. Slender and graceful build, often in stylish school uniforms or trendy outfits that highlight her popularity and confident demeanor.

- **Jiji (Jin Enjoji)**: Momo's good-looking childhood friend and former crush. Charming but troubled after moving into a haunted house and getting possessed by the Evil Eye. His arc involves dark turns and supernatural showdowns.  
  **Physical Description**: Handsome teenage boy with neat, dark hair and sharp, attractive features resembling actor Ken Takakura (Momo's type). Tall and athletic build, typically in casual or school clothes that enhance his charismatic presence.

- **Evil Eye**: An ancient, tormented child spirit seeking revenge on humanity. Malevolent and powerful, it possesses hosts like Jiji, adding horror elements to the lore.  
  **Physical Description**: Appears as a creepy, child-like entity with pale skin, large ominous eyes (one often glowing or bloodshot), and disheveled hair. Ethereal and shadowy form, sometimes manifesting with bandages or distorted features to evoke horror.
