Close WoW first if it is running.

Install Custom Font (Optional)
Download Quazii Fonts.zip and unzip to World of Warcraft_retail_\ (NOT the AddOns folder). Change retail to your game version (Beta, PTR, etc). This only affects login screen button styling.

Install Addons
I recommend downloading manually and unzipping to World of Warcraft_retail_\Interface\AddOns. Change retail to your game version (e.g. if installing for PTR, or Beta etc)

QuaziiUI — CD Manager, unit frames, clean UI tweaks
Platynator — Nameplate customization (import strings in ⁠quazii-plater)

P.S. you can install + auto-update QUI via WoWUp, see ⁠⬆️auto-update-qui

In-Game Setup
Esc > Options > Gameplay Enhancement > Enable Cooldown Manager
Options > Action Bars > Enable all your action bars
Keybinds > QuaziiUI > Set a keybind for the QUI panel (or just type /qui)

Import Templates

Advanced users can skip this and build from scratch.

Use my 1440p templates OR browse community profiles in ⁠🖼️share-your-qui  (filterable by resolution/role). Templates have 2 components:
Edit Mode — Where UI elements sit on your screen
QUI Profile — All QUI settings in one importable string

Quazii 1440P Setup
/qui > Quazii's Strings > Copy my Edit Mode string | WARNING: Do NOT import my 12.0 into 11.2.7 - it will break.
Enter Edit Mode > Layout dropdown > Import
QUI settings already use my defaults, so no profile import needed
For community profiles: /qui > QUI Import/Export > Import Profile String

Tip: Minimap might be out of place — just drag it where you want.

Action Bars & Keybinds
/qui > Action Bars > Disable Mouseover Hide to reveal all bars
Drag spells from Spellbook onto bars
Type /kb to enter keybind mode (hover over a button, press your key)
Re-enable Mouseover Hide when done

Optional: Set your Microbar to Show Always if you prefer the game menu visible.

Setup Cooldown Manager

Best to watch the video where I explain with visuals, but here's the TLDR:

Important: /qui > CD Manager Ability Setup — configure your abilities!

Recommended layouts:
[16 Essentials + X Utilities]
[8 Essentials + X Essentials + 0 Utilities]

See reference image for my default setup. Skip this and your CDM will look messy. Once you understand the system, customize icons per row however you like.

Finalize Positions

Use Edit Mode for final placement. For the Buff Icon Bar specifically:
Do NOT use arrow keys
Do NOT enable Snap to Element

Either will cause the bar to shift in combat. Position with mouse only, then Save.

HOW DO I UPDATE QUI

I recommend you setup 1-click auto-updating. See ⁠⬆️auto-update-qui

If you dislike auto-updates, all new and old versions are also mirrored on Gdrive

⚠️ This token refreshes monthly. If your updates stop working, come back here for the new token (then do Step 4).

Setup (One-Time):
Download WowUp from https://wowup.io/
Open WowUp and select the correct WoW version from the top left
Click the gear icon (left side) → click Addons
On the right side, find "Personal Access Token" → paste the token from above
Click Get Addons (left side)
Click Install From URL (top right)
Paste this URL: https://github.com/imquazii/QuaziiUI_Midnight
Click Import → then Install

That's it! From now on, WowUp will detect QUI updates automatically.

Troubleshooting:
Double-check the token has no extra spaces; It won't let you download unless you put the right PAT
Token not working? Check this channel for the latest one
Right click, re-install will fix any bugs of empty folder
